Find out if Aeroseal is the solution you need!
If your air ducts are improperly sealed or leaking, they may be causing poor comfort, higher energy bills, degraded air quality, and even unnecessary wear and tear on your HVAC system. When heated or cooled air escapes from holes or unsealed joints in the duct system, hundreds of dollars per year can be wasted. When untreated air is drawn into return ducts, contaminants are circulated throughout the rooms of your home and breathed by occupants. Contact Green Air Care for the most advanced and effective method of duct sealing, and enjoy a potential 20% increase of efficiency from your heating and cooling system, superior air quality, and more consistent comfort all year long. Our technicians are trained, experienced, and specialized in the proper maintenance of duct systems, providing effective solutions without damage.
Find out if Aeroseal is the solution you need!
Air ducts are most often tucked into ceilings, walls, attics, and basements. Out-of-sight, however, should not be out-of-mind. Your ductwork is one of the most critical systems in your home or office, and greatly impacts the performance and cost of operating your HVAC system. Because of the difficulty of accessing ductwork, identifying and addressing leaks can be time- and labor-intensive. Locating flaws and sealing each one by hand is an imperfect and expensive process. At Green Air Care, we replace that outdated method with Aeroseal Duct Sealing. In far less time, we minimize expense, avoid mess, and successfully eliminate up to 90% of air leakage. Through a computer-guided procedure, airborne adhesive particles are blown into the ductwork. As cracks, holes, and imperfections allow air to escape, the sealant particles accumulate and fill openings up to one-inch in diameter. Aeroseal has been proven to deliver reduced energy bills, a decrease in odors and fumes, healthier indoor air quality, more evenly distributed temperature control, and greater airflow. And because the workload of your HVAC system is lessened, you’ll benefit from fewer repair needs and longer service life.

How It Works:
Residential Energy Efficiency Tax Credits
According to Consumer Reports, Money Magazine and other leading publications, duct sealing is one of the best investments to reduce home energy bills. And now, we are excited to announce that new federal tax credit incentives will increase the appeal of duct sealing for homeowners.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, expiring on December 31, 2016 allows any qualified Aeroseal duct sealing installed in 2015 or 2016, eligible for this credit.
Owners of existing homes may receive a tax credit worth 10% of the cost of upgrading the efficiency of the home’s duct system. Installation (labor) costs are not included, and the credit is capped at a maximum of $500 for all improvements from January 1, 2011 – December 31, 2016. To be eligible for the credit, the improvement must meet the prescriptive requirements established for it under the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (including supplements).
